Bankruptcies include New York City-based gourmet food emporium, Dean & Deluca; as well as health retail chains like GNC and the Vitamin Shop. FoodFirst Global Holdings (parent company of Bravo Cucina Italiano and Brio Tuscan Grille) is also filing for chapter 11. French-inspired bakery and café chain, Le Pain Quotidien will be selling its locations to Aurify Brands (parent company of fast casual chains The Little Beet and Five Guys Burgers). And CEC Entertainment (parent company of Chuck E. Cheese restaurants) has been forced to engage in financial restructuring.
